HEAT-UP WORKERS RIGHTS - NOT THE PLANET!
CLIMATE CHANGE: CALL TO ACTION!

Building and construction account for nearly 40% of yearly carbon emissions globally.

Unsustainable forest management, forests' degradation and deforestation deprive the world of protection from these emissions.

Workers in the construction and forestry see climate change not only as an environmental concern, but also a workplace issue.
Many workers toil under the scorching sun. Due to extreme weather events, working environments are disrupted,
and workers' health and safety are endangered.

A healthy planet means healthy construction and forestry workers!

The carbon reduction we need can be achieved requires strong government leadership and the involvement
of workers and their unions.

Leading to the 2023 UN Climate Summit in Dubai (COP28), join us as we demand better jobs, urgent measures for healthy and safe working environments, and better protections for workers working in extreme heat and other adverse weather conditions.

Workers deliver the transformation that our society needs. They deserve better!
